SIP integration

Integration between the Jacques PA system & SIP allows premises with a digital telephone system to utilise these endpoints to make public address announcements & make/receive intercom calls. Users can dial PA zones to make live announcements from anywhere in the building. Calls from help point units in car parks can be answered at SIP desk phones. A SIP IP telephone can initiate the operation of relays onboard Jacques intercoms via DTMF, during a connected call. For after hours fuctionality, switch Jacques IP master station to night mode whereby calls are diverted to a SIP phone after 5pm (may also require Jacques Event Controller software).

Intercom-associated camera switching

Integration with leading video management systems and the Jacques IP Communication System allows for CCTV systems to switch cameras in a control room based on an intercom trigger event. Intercoms are associated with nearby cameras. When a call is ringing or established (or any call/device state) the associated camera will present on the monitor for complete audio & visual of a situation. Often camera, layout and PTZ positions are sent with corresponding intercom events.

Concierge or duress calling

One-touch concierge or duress calling from video monitor stations directly to a predefined master station for prompt response.

Ticket machine & lift intercom

Jacques Intercom Box module (JIB) allows for intercom functionality be inbuilt into a number of structures. The module allows for the connection of (up-to) two call buttons, a microphone and speaker so that intercom face panels can be manufactured as part of ticket machines, lift panels and bollards seamlessly. JIB modules are IEEE PoE and also contain two relays for triggering door access, strobes or any contact.

CCTV camera streams

Configured third party IP CCTV camera streams can be selected & viewed on demand and in real time via the video monitor station (VMS) or PC master station ensuring you know who is calling at building entrances, and who you are potentially letting into the building.

Bollard & gate access intercom

The Jacques system can integrate communication with bollard and boom gate intercoms as well as car park Help Point Units which connect directly to a central security control offering help, assistance and advice. Various mounting options exist for bollard & gate access intercoms so that heights are useful for car & truck users.

Configurable relay modules

Configurable relay modules exist on intercom terminals to activate external equipment – control doors, boom gates, lights or signal CCTV camera presets.

Auto-forward to external phone after hours

The system capable of diverting an intercom call to an external phone under certain, configurable conditions.  For Example:  After hour calls from external intercom door station to a phone number. The intercom call is forwarded to a patrolling security officer’s phone when they are away from their officer station (ie. the security officer master station is on remote).

Master station control

Master stations in the system allow users to make live public address announcements, trigger pre-recorded announcements as well as make/receive intercom calls. Added benefit of maps & emergency messages exist in PC Master station. There is a PA master station suitable for your school requirements.

IP help point units

Help Point Units (HPUs), the ultimate solution for environments prioritizing public safety. These user-friendly and reliable IP call points are designed to withstand weather & harsh outdoor environments, ensuring robust and seamless communication. With one or two button calling, simply press the call button to connect with central control. Our HPUs are available with emergency or dual emergency and information buttons, catering to situations where additional assistance may be required. Equipped with configurable relays, these units effortlessly control lighting, duress alarms, CCTV, or gate systems commonly found in public safety and transport environments.
